How many hypnotherapy sessions you have will depend on your circumstances and the reason for which you are seeking our help. Some issues may only require one hypnotherapy session however other issues may better suit a longer-term approach with regular weekly, fort-nightly or monthly hypnotherapy sessions. We will discuss duration with you when you first come in, and will be flexible when it comes to decreasing or extending the number of hypnotherapy sessions to correlate with your progress and needs.

Each of your hypnotherapy sessions will be different, we shape the hypnotherapy sessions specifically to your individual needs. First we will have a bit of a chat about what is going on for you and how we can help. We then use a mixture of mind coaching, hypnosis, neuro-linguistic programming, IEMT - integral eye movement therapy, visualisation techniques, with some other things thrown in too!

NLP is a set of language and sensory based interventions and behavior-modification techniques designed to help improve your self-awareness, confidence, communication skills, and social actions. The goals of NLP are to help you to understand that the way you view the world affects how you operate in the world, and that it is necessary to change the thoughts and behavior patterns that have not proven beneficial in the past and that have only served to block your healing and success.

Is a gentle, fast-working technique that helps people shift how they feel about certain memories, thoughts, or emotional patterns. Using guided eye movements, IEMT supports the brain in updating the way it processes certain experiences — especially those linked to strong emotions or unhelpful behaviours. Many people find IEMT helpful when they’re feeling stuck in patterns of overthinking, emotional triggers, low self-worth, or anxiety. It can bring a noticeable sense of relief, calm, or clarity — often in a short space of time. This technique is not counselling or talk therapy. You won’t need to go into lots of detail about your past — we simply work with how your mind is storing certain experiences, and help it gently change the way it responds.

The short answer is no, although it looks like that in stage hypnosis, we promise that we can't make you. Nothing like that will happen in any of our hypnotherapy sessions because we use hypnosis very ethically. If we use hypnosis with you, you will be sitting in a chair, relaxing the whole time you are in a trance state.

We work with people 16 +. We want our clients to succeed and we find that children younger than this age aren't as invested in their results as their parents are, so therefore don't engage well enough in hypnotherapy sessions to get the amazing results we know are available to them.
